What is Resin?

Resin is a liquid plastic that is hardened into a solid object using light. Because it starts as a liquid rather than melted plastic lines, the final product turns out completely smooth to the touch, with a surface quality that looks like a molded, store-bought item.
It is commonly used for things like tabletop miniatures, jewelry patterns, dental models, and highly detailed figurines.
It is also a premium option that involves a more hands-on cleaning process after it's made, which makes it more expensive than standard plastics.
Finally, because it is cured by light, leaving it in direct sunlight for long periods will cause it to over-harden and become even more brittle.
